My last week in Sneek
This was my third and last week in the Netherlands. We took advantage of our days off to explore the city where we are staying, and we also went to Amsterdam for a day. Amsterdam is a very beautiful city but filled with tourists, lots of people everywhere. However, there are also many things to see and foods to try. On Tuesday, February 13, we were supposed to have a school excursion, but it was ultimately canceled. So that day, we went to do our internship at the school's cafe/restaurant, Kliem Plaza. First, we made the mise en place for the day, and then a classmate and I were in charge of making pasta for the meal. It was a pasta dish with garlic, onion, kale, cream, Parmesan cheese, and canned mushrooms. After preparing the dish several times, I had to teach one of the school's students how to make it so that they could also prepare the pasta. My other classmate, who didn't make pasta, learned how to make stroopwafel, a traditional Dutch cookie On Wednesday, February 1
